The Will of God
In order to know the will of God for our lives, we must first know God himself. With the knowledge of God and our submission to Him, we can experience the joy of walking in His will.
Is God going to speak to you in the privacy of your home some night? Let's read from the book
of John 16:13 "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come." The Spirit of God will come...into you....and GUIDE YOU...with truth...
and the path chosen for you. You can respond with "Awesome, someone with great wisdom is going to guide me!"
God has your steps ordered. Take a look at a ladder. Every step has purpose, to reach the next step. We don't have to get frustrated with all the steps, or even skip any of them. Every step with God has a "learning purpose" and prepares us for the next! You will not have to fear the ladder of your life, trust God is climbing the ladder with you.
In God's will, we are asked to fulfill His plan, not to ignore Him. Perhaps you are being called to serve in a caregiving capacity or aid someone financially. The list could be huge of ideas....
but what you do in your daily living matters, so LISTEN! Seek out God's plan. He will reveal
to you what path to follow. (often in a way you don't expect!)
Pull out a Bible and read Psalm 37:5. Pray!
Come to worship and listen and learn!
God is Good!
